Baked Pear Custard


ingredients
  • 2 pears, thinly sliced
  • ⅓ cup caster sugar
  • 2 tsp custard powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 cups Sanitarium So Good Lite soy milk, heated
  • yogurt to serve
method
  1. 11. Arrange pears over base of lightly greased ramekin dishes.
  2. 22. Combine sugar and custard powder, then whisk in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add hot So Good to egg mixture. Pour egg mixture over pears.
  3. 33. Bake in a slow oven, 150°C, for 1 hour or until set. Serve with yogurt.
