Vegetable Farming in Maldives

After years of trying to master the art of agricultural production, we were finally able to maximise the use of the land, and in turn grew a fresh supply of a variety of vegetables. The famous Maldivian chili, githeyo mirus is one of the vegetables that have proved to be quite popular with consumers. Some of the other vegetables include brinjals, banana flowers, pumpkin, butternut, betel leaves, kangkung, okra, long beans and much more.
